Rich wrote:Is that exhaust shop Buds Muffler? I'd recommend them based on everything I've heard. Exhaust Pros are good as well, but won't do certain things you may want done. A custom job can be great on our cars, just make sure to keep your stock system in case you need to make a dealer trip.

I have all my stuff done at Bud's they are truly great guys. Will fit you in no matter how busy........Just off Sante Fe only 15 minutes away from me........:D

Ronin, I agree totally with your point.......I do know that replacing the down pipe on the Ms6 is not fun and can intimidate beginners(Already done the Corksport).

I Can also see your point as to the necessity of dual on the MS6. I can confirm the fact that having two mufflers can be detrimental to the owner(seeing you had the single CP-e and I have the dual). It is twice the resonation/sound of one. But boy does it sound good when you hit the pedal(I wouldn't care if I didn't drive the wife in it)......

My experience is that the powerband goes to the latter of the RPM range(expected). As I have been back and forth for dealer visits and for the first Colorado winter it has seen(exhaust). There is a big difference that I have noticed, but I have not dynoed to see the true numbers(difference between stock and CP-e).

I am just trying to let others know that the $1000+ does have some draw backs, I was hooked after the video from Cp-e.

It is a great exhaust, just don't know if I will ever reap the true rewards of it.

As far as custom after looking at it, there is not much to screw up(damn). You could easily have one made to your liking. Just materials could affect your price. My guess is you could do it for like $400-700 for everything.....Your mufflers will affect your final sound.

Just let me know if you would like to come and see it.......Greg

I fat-fingered - it was a 1.8T. My bad. :)

Brandon it's good to have you back because I suck at explaining things. "Maximum Boost", widely considered the best book on turbocharging, states that the best exhuast for a turbo system is no exhaust. It's an excellent read ;)
