Technical Service Bulletin. Issued by Mazda North America. Its kind of like a recall but instead of a full blow recall, they are problems recognized by Mazda and are brought to the attention of dealers, so if a customer comes in with a said problem covered in a certain TSB, the dealer will know how to take care of it.

andrew, you are right, the P2177 and P2187 are both related to the recent TSB on the fuel pumps. Let Mazda know whats going on, they will put the pump through a series of tests, and determine if you are eligible for the new fuel pump..

Shane, found this info on another foum too:

Hi all,

The CEL was on last week and dealer told me they replaced "Purge Solenoid Valve" for the error code p0171/p0172/p0441/p0442/p0455/p0456/p2178/p2187/p2188. And now my car is running fine.
