Eric I appreciate the offer. At this point I'm not really confident that it won't get f'd up. Plus, my parents are coming into town today so I'll be on entertainment duty until the end of the month. I can drive it stock for now, at least until depression sets in :P

Did you unplug the battery every time you pluged and unpluged the standback?

Sure did. Not sure but I'd say it's possibly a PCB failure within the harness.

Have you thrown in some lower octane gas to offset the high octane you put in for the run?

I've seen this on my Saabs.

The MAF Sensor may be dirty or faulty. The use of oiled air filters may cause the MAF to become dirty.
There might be a vacuum leak downstream from the MAF sensor. Try taking it off and cleaning it with electronics cleaner or brake cleaner (spray) Make sure you are careful not to damage the MAF and make sure it's dry before reinstalling
Inspect all vacuum and PCV hoses.
You may want to check for a dirty fuel filter and proper fuel pressure

See my previous post. You will usually get the misfire code with a vacuum leak.

Well since I've reset the ECU, the CEL is gone. Since I just installed a fresh filter, I'll be sure to examine the MAF. Thanks for the advice :)

The battery only needs to be unhooked the first time you install the harness and standback.

Rich, thats great news you'll be up and running faster soon.. sucks that youve had these 2 issues with the standback, knock on wood, everything is fine so far here...

And every time you unplug the standback to put the bypass plug on. Good to here that they took care of you I am starting to like CP-E more and more.
