thnaks guys for all your comments by the way! lol but yeeah the thing is that the oil change was done before i got the car. and i was just a dunbass and never looked at the sticker on the window lol. but yeah no oil light came on or engine light or anything, which is very wierd. and i know its bad cause i went to check on it at the shop where it is and it was up on the lift and the guy showed me what was wrong. honestly i dont really know anything about engines so i was kinda just noddin my head and saying yeah. haha but something was defently broken a rod i think and he said the parts to fix it arent that expensive but the labor would be a shitload, and as he was taking it apart he could very well find more things wrong with it. casuse you all know that no oil basically means no engine[/b]
mmm tough one there. need to keep up with those oil changes, but the warning light alerted you before this happened... I would see if your car qualifies for any
recalls *cough* oil light *cough to see if they could help a little. I doubt they would cover the whole thing given your situation, but it appears one of the failsafes..
