The car is finally getting there. I'm going to stop by and see it today.

What was left to do as of last weekend:
-paint hood, bumpers, cowl STARTED
-wet sand and polish hood, bumpers, cowl (after paint)
-install hood, bumpers, cowl, rear glass, etc (I will be helping)
-wheel well rust repair DONE
-install exhaust heat shield (tabs to be welded with rust repair)
-repair and paint rear louvers (need to drill rivets and drop off at welder) STARTED
-wheel clear coat (already preped by me) STARTED
-side moulding install
-side moulding finish STARTED
-windshield moulding install
-pinstriping
-rear interior install (I will be doing, 1-2 hour total) STARTED
-install seals, emblems, stickers, etc (I will be doing)

Once the car is done with paint:
-alignment
-new tires
-replace carpet (have in garage)
-driver's seat repair (sometime this year)
-metal sunroof headliner in brown (done with seat)
-rear suspension bushing replacement (bushings sitting in garage) DONE
-paint rear suspension (have paint) DONE

Looks like a long list but it isn't as bad as it sounds.

Getting better

I installed the rear interior last night. It took about an hour and a half.

The lower rear valance (body part below the rear bumper) is now painted as of last night. The black top of the doors and black between the rear windows should be painted in the next two days. Once that is done, I can start to put the seals, emblems, door handles, mirrors, etc. back on.

While I install parts, the painter will be painting the bumpers first then painting the hood, front valance, etc.

The door locks need to be installed but were still wet when I left so I couldn't get them in. We repaired the left tail light (it was cracked). We made a good one out of two. The tail lights and center panel are now in for good. The license plate brackets are also painted.

The rear bumper, head light buckets, head light lids, hood hinges, and hood latch were ready for color when I left.
