We worked on the car last night.

I stripped the front driver's side fender (red). It was a junk yard fender and we tried to just give it a sanding before primer but the quality of the paint used on it was very poor so I had to completely strip it. I also worked on sanding the primed front cowl guide coat so we could find dents that needed to be filled.

the windshield was removed yesterday so it could be replaced and they found some rust that needs to be repaired before the new one is put in. He was going to fix that last night. He also worked some more on the front cowl and did some welding on the front. The car is now on the lift so he can weld underneath.

On saturday I replaced the throwout bearing and also installed the highflow cat. The project turned from a 2 hour job to an entire day because the tranny jack died. We ended up having to rebuild it. This was one of those tranny jacks for the lift.

I haven't gotten any pics of the cat installed yet.

yes that happened at the alignment shop before the painting started. I have another strut mounting block I need to install.

We made more progress last night. Finally stuff is actually happening.

Filling is nearly done on the front end. I removed more components from the engine bay to prepair for paint. I also did cleaning and sanding.
