Hey iv been noticing lately that my stock oil pressure gauge is reading just above the 0 mark at idle? but it is still at 50 at 3k, should i be worried or is it most likely just the gauge reading inacuratley

That gauge is inaccurate get an aftermarket one. Or maybe getting a new sensor. I say don't worry but get an aftermarket one ASAP. Same with water temp gauge.

I wouldn't just because I don't know for sure if is getting the right amount of pressure. That's just me, what amount of pressure do you see at high RPM's?

oh word! thanks man!

also, do you really think i should wait til i get the gauge and check it, i mean its kind of been like this for as long as i can remeber really, but it does go up to like normal pressure under load, is that weird that it works under load but so low at idle? i only ask cause there is a drift event tomorrow i was really looking forward to, but if you think i really should wait i will cause id much rather be safe then sorry

Took it out today and it seems like it stays just below the 30 mark then once I drive and warm it up more it goes down little by little is this an idication of anything?

A bad sensor connection more than likely. Pull the tab off the pressure sensor in the rear iron and clean it with some sandpaper. The OEM gauge isn't always accurate, which is why Eduardo recommended replacing it with an aftermarket gauge.
