If you are retired from either of these branches of service, you are legally covered to own and carry this. The only other loophole is a dealer or collector license.

Not sure that is correct in CO. Only exemptions I have found are for active LEO's OR a Dealer Broker... BUT the dealer/broker only qualifies because the knife must be in transit to a sale. Best thing to do is check with your local Sheriffs office about it because it is really not something to guess with if you are caught.

Like I said, I'm not one for getting into the legality of this knife. Without attempting to be blunt, it's kind of your deal if you choose to purchase.

Fair enough, although if SHTF, you'd be the person who sold the illegal weapon... pretty sketchy. There's lots of websites that sell them and leave it up to the buyer too

BTW, not trying to knock your sale or anything. Just trying to post some info as selling an auto-knife is a lot like selling an auto-gun. Not saying anything bad would happen, but it is a serious piece of hardware and potential buyers should know that there could be hefty penalties.

^That's pretty funny haha. And it completely makes sense when you think of all the BS loopholes in our laws lol.

All fair points, but it's NOT an illegal weapon if sold legally and sold to someone who is legally allowed to carry it. Come on, it's not like I'm selling an illegally modified short barrel shotgun here!

Anyways, still looking to sell a knife here. All reasonable offers will be considered.

Apparently you missed the reasonable part of that sentence, Eric? Haha, if I sold to you for $5, you'd have to do some stuff in the parking lot to make up for the difference ;)

Well "reasonable" is a relative term. I paid $5 for a fake Rambo knife when I was a child, so anything over $5 seems kinda steep to me.

LOL just playin. What kind of other payment were you looking for? Do you want me to use my new knife to make you a woman? lol
