Cost will depend on how much you are able to do yourself. I could drop any engine on (or in, if you have a convertible) your car for minimal money! If you want it to run (or fit) that is different. B)

Home sweet home. I am a little scared because this thing sits low. Took 20 minutes to get on the trailer and 30 minutes to get it off.

Nice video, but turn off the music on the next one so we can hear that thing growl. Also, do you plan on putting some mesh or something in the front bumper to hide the radiator fans?

Love the stance on that thing. Mine has the stock springs back on it and looks like a monster truck now. :(

Thanks for all th comments. I still have a bit of work to do still but at least I have the pleasure to go out and drive it. There is still a lot of trouble shooting and issues that need to be adressed as the pop up. Side skirts/ spoiler need installed, stearing wheel needs aligned, rear end needes to come up to match the front, and am now having issues with changing gears and geting in reverse. Hopfully I should be able to have all the bugs worked out come spring time.

I knew it was going to happen but am a little disappointing with some of the bugs I have been having to work out. I JUST WANT TO DRIVE!!!! My clutch keeps going out of adjustment and seems like the master cylinder need braced to prevent flexing. The whole car needed to be raise because the outer CV boot was rubbing on the spring perch and did bottom out on me. I go the car raised and then had the snap ring on the rear spring perch give way and literally drop on axle. So it is currently back at the shop to fix the clutch and re-raise the suspension. I messed with the clutch problem four separate time and each time thought I had it fixed but can only do so much on a garage floor with a Miata 4-pointed. I have been able to get the spoiler installed, suspension aligned, and the stearing wheel straightened out. Hopefully I will get it back soon so I can get the CV boots replaced and be ready for the cruse next week. Wish me luck.

In the meantime, enjoy this video I put together for my dad showcasing my progress. Most of the pics you have already seen but puts them together in chronological order and to music. Enjoy!

The stock 1.6 breaks were defiantly not enough for this car. It would stop but there was a tone of break fade and am under the impression if you can't lock up the breaks, there to small.

I picked up this Wilwood setup for a really good deal which expedited there arrival. They are all installed and just need to bleed them, the clutch is now fixed and CV boots replaced. For now everything is good.
