Didn't really see any badges so I'm pretty sure it wasn't. Just noticed the passanger looking at me as they took off. Didn't even know anyone was in the lane next to me until they gunned it.

For anyone that knows the DT Denver area. I was on 6th turning onto Speere. They headed straight. So really I couldn't race them even if I knew a race was going down. (My lane had the option to go straight or turn.)

LOL well, my Grand Cherokee Laredo with the 4.7L V8 puts down roughly the same HP as your RX, but weighs 4400 lbs. So it wouldn't have been a contest.

Those SRT Cherokee's are no joke. They are better on the drag strip then the Charger SRTs!

My Dad's friend has one and he says that it is faster than his porshe!

Yeah, that's what I've heard. Then again, I don't mess with anything that says "SRT" on it.

Those Crossfire's are ugly as SH!T!!!

I went at it with one two days in a row on the way to work (about a year ago). We were pretty even but he could never pass me :) (non SRT of course)

A guy at my work as a red Crossfire convertible, and he thinks it's the shit. He has some exhaust on it, which actually sound decent, and says he got a "performance chip" that added some "serious power". I offered him a race straight up back when I had the 8, but he turned it down haha.

Even tho I'm not a fan of Crossfires, they still look semi decent and his convertible is pretty functional with the hardtop.

My friend in St Louis has a Crossfire and a Mini-Cooper S. She thinks they're both the fastest cars out there. Told us once that the Mini would go 270 mph. She was crushed when she found out that was 270 KPH. LOL.

OMG the Mini Cooper S is sooooo slow. I've beat one here. They even left the line before the light turned green and I inched past them.

Yeah, I've destroyed one here too. Oddly, they always seem to be driven by chicks...

I see a mixture driving them. Usually if it's an S it's a guy but not always.

I just laugh at anyone that buys one and thinks they are fast because it's supercharged. If we were at sea level I would have killed that guy instead of inching past him.

SRT8 Chargers and Magnums aren't that fast. They are heavy as hell. At sea level it would be different of course but up here a decently modified turbo 4 cylinder can beat an SRT8. I ran dead even with a Charger in my SRT4 and my 3 is faster than my SRT was. After I get tuned I'll keep an eye out for another one and see how it goes.

The Cherokees move out because they are AWD. I would rock one of those in a heartbeat if I didn't mind getting 8mpg lol.

I've got a new one from today, just about an hour ago I was driving down this stretch of road in the middle of nowhere when I see the old familiar hood scoop of a new Subaru STI hatchback coming up behind me. Well the car rolls up next to me starts pacing me and I had my windows down and the guy and his girlfriend just stare and he gives me the kinda smile that just gets under your skin... Anyways, he down shifts and takes off going like 100 mph, and I didn't flinch, I know the cops like to hang out on the other side of the hill we were driving up...

So I continue down the road and get in the turn lane for the highway. The van infront of me at the stoplight starts to make its left hand turn and guess who's in front of him, YEP Mr. STI showoff. Well I made sure to get next to him at the next stoplight, he is still in the left lane keeping his fast car image alive. I was looking to take his smugness away from him on this one, so I launched it hard. I took him with the launch, I gained ground with every shift, and shut it down with half a length between the back of my car and his hood. Oh man it made my day a whole lot better

I wonder what he's thinking now

Nice kill. Have you run a new STi before? Do you think he was stock? That's what I was wanting to get when I eventually settled for my MS3.
