Hi,
Found a link on the Mazda3Forums.
Not quite a full on member. Doing everything I can to find a Speed3 from a dealer who wont take me on an explicitly violating date.
Actually, I'm looking at one at Spradley in Fort Collins, spotty record but then reading the dealer reviews who doesnt have one, but... The car came from here in Cheyenne, the local dealer says it belonged to a local insurance guy whos name i wont Internet post. It's Spradley i'm not sure about... anyone think this is a bad idea?
Nevertheless I've driven one enough times to know I have to have it, enough to sell my new car to get it! Gas hit, but, maybe not so much... eh, I dont care, lol. There seem to be a few between here and 500 miles, i already have the loan. Honestly, It's driving me mad... I cant wait, haha.
Anyway, hope being here in Wyo isnt an issue, and I look forward to it if not!
New from Cheyenne

I've never had an issue at Spradley. The only time I really interacted with their sales staff was when I just wanted to test drive some stuff with no intention of buying. Their service staff is good though. I had to get some work done for recalled crash zone sensors and they did wonderfully. They were respectful and got back to me quickly about my car.
I haven't heard many bad things come out of Spradley. I think many members on this forum would suggest you check out Mazda of Lakewood, but I'm not sure.
Good luck though and welcome!

Thats the more important part anyway. What i had mostly read was that they didnt do inspections like they say they do, etc. I figure most sales guys are all the same.
I've done as much homework as possible short of taking to a place to have it inspected third party, which I suppose I should do. Can anyone recommend a good place in FoCo? Past that, the Carfax looks good, car drives well.

Good luck on the buy. I bought a speed6 because its AWD for winter and such. We are having a cruise on the 31st in a few days if you are interested.

Not gonna be able to make that one. Thats our anniversary, and if I go galavanting on that day... great sweeping hordes of death would reign down on me with great certainty. I'd bring her with but that would still be, less than desirable, event hough we'll be in the area for said celebration anyway. Hehe, last time I took her down from Nederland in my 09 Civic Si, whom is the topic of my trade in, and that was not received well from the passenger seat.
Haha awesomeness!! Welcome to the club! Good luck with the purchase/find. I personally wouldn't recommend Mazda of Lakewood only because I have had bad luck w/ them in every possible way (PM me for details if you want). I bought my car down in the springs as it was the best bang for the buck, plus the guys at Penkhus were phenomenal in every way!!! Granted I understand thats kinda far for you, but I really don't know much about dealerships up north.
Wyoming shouldn't be a problem with the club, we welcome just about everyone, and even have a section for our "northern" members.

Yeah, I get the feeling all dealerships have about a 50/50 record on shady type action. I think it's just the nature of things. i bought my Honda from Tyrrell here in Cheyenne and it's been nothing short of a nightmare, on a brand new car, lol.
So, today just before lunch, the one guy cut the other guy off from the same dealership... meaning Guy A originally offered me 18500 on the civic and 19900 on the speed3, then this other guy, Guy B, came from left field and offered me 19112 on the speed and only 17500 trade. Trying to get the sale from the other guy I guess.
So, in the meantime, I'm waiting on my bank. They must be getting nervous or impatient because Guy A now asks me if I'm coming down or what? I'm like I have work all day and then class and my bank hasnt given me official word yet, and he goes I'll give you 19000 on the honda if you come today, lol. So i told the other guy hey your own guys offering me 1500 more than your are on my trade, no answer yet. lol.
It never ceases to amaze me how surreal buying a car is.

Inexpensive as well! Thanks Lyssa.
I knew they were inflating the trade to get me in there. I brought it in and he offered a thousand less than the sight unseen price, but they came at me with that "meeting your payment" thing, I hate that because it obscures the real costs. Oh well, I took it and told them I'd call them tomorrow.
I know the Cheyenne dealership had the same car for 300 cheaper, and that he's still got room to move on that warranty. It was a herculean attempt though, it's not like there is a shortage of them. I just need to set my sights lower, but god am I afraid to buy without a manufacturer warranty or higher mileage...
