For you MS3 folks... :)

I can't say that I am surprised by the outcome.

Wow, the Genesis is pretty quick, though. At sea level. Come on up here and see how it holds up against an MS3. Or MS6. WRX. Evo. SRT-4. Etc.

Well there is a turbo 4-cylinder version of the Genesis, Stealth. But it makes less power than the MS3.

I'm surprised how much the aftermarket has already supported the Genesis. AMS already has a prototype turbo kit for the 4-cylinder, HKS has an intercooler/charger pipe kit, there are intakes, coilovers, brakes, etc, already out. I'm not aware of many parts for the new MS3 yet...odd

I would take the MS3 over the Genesis mainly because I am a Mazda fan and I seriously don't like Hyundai's due to friends and family have TONS of issues with them. But the Genesis' engine is based of the World engine sharing of the 4B11 aluminum block 4 cylinder- the same engine in the Evo X- but contrary to popular belief the engines are vastly different (different block, internals, cylinder head, cams, EMS, etc) but the design is very similar.

I do like that the Genesis is rear-wheel drive and I don't like front-wheel drive, tho.

i dont like the genesis because it looks generic. like a watered down something. even the interior is bland. other than that... its really nothing that hasn't been done before by other manufactures so its nothing earth shattering to me other than the fact that its one of few rwd sport coupes u can get for this price range.
