The Curse has made it's rounds again

Postby GR-8 » Tue Sep 15, 2009 9:14

I think this is like the 3rd time the "CMZC Curse" has hit me.

Short story I was driving with my mom to pick up my Grandpa to take him to his Dr. Appointment. Well Driving down 6th in the Far right lane I slow down as the car in front of me is turning onto Broadway. Well he turns so I get back on the gas to go across the intersection cause I wanted to turn on Speere. Well the guy next to me didn't see me (He was in an SUV) and turned right into me. So My side skirt is Half on Half off my rear door is scratched up a bit and well The rear fender looks like well..... a lightly crushed sheet of tin.... I guess.

Guy was cool. He called his insurance on the spot and made the claim and all. Wrote down all his info. So I'm waiting for a call from his insurance either today or tomorrow. I already spoke to them while on the scene.

Going to see how much it'll be to wipe the graphics off the other side of my car since the driver side is damaged and just make the car all Blue again. Then @ some point I may go with a Lighter or darker blue vynil for graphics. I will see. But Now I may need to find new sideskirts which I wanted any who. So this kinda works out. I hope the insurance doesn't say the side skirt is fixable. Cause its like split in half and that'll piss me off.

Oh and his car has minor scratches on the front bumper which he doesn't care about so the insurance is only fixing my car.

Real sorry to hear it, Jimmy. I have this gut feeling though, that this may turn out to be a blessing in disguise for you. Either way though...

There is nothing worse than getting into an accident and finding out the other person either blames you or thay have no insurance. Mistakes happen and it sounds like the guy realized his fault from the get go. I'm glad everything is turning out well.

Back when I first got my license I went to pass this slow ass lady doing 30 in a 50 on a mountain road outside of Evergreen. There were yellow dashes, not solid, and no one in the oncomming lane of traffic, so I speed up to pass her, with my blinker on and she turns left into me. She claimed that I did not have my blinker on and that she did. Our insurance companies went at it for over a year until mine finally gave up and just paid the bitch and my rates skyrocketed because I was 16. Moral of the story is, it could have been worse.

Geez, sorry to see that. I'm still fighting my neighbor, although my insurance company says it'll be an easy to win case, and I just found out last night that I have a witness. He said he'd testify if I needed him to do so.

Sorry about your car Jimmy. This would be a good time to let them know about any other damage that the accident caused :7cef5fa:
