I had a pretty funny one today driving home in Denver. I got stopped at a light and I could hear this Nissan Altima reving up a bit as if to get the jump on me off the light... Well I was right, the light turned green and he started burning the tires and I just took off like normal. It was pretty hilarious winning without trying, so I took it further and took mine through all of first and second gear.. Meanwhile I hear him slam it into second and burn the tires again.. I'm like a whole car length ahead with no launch and barely going like 45 mph  He did a ricer flyby then turned lol

Extras: His car had aftermarket wheels, exhaust, loud as hell.

Wait, an Altima can burn tires? Weird.

LOL any car can peel out as long as it's a manual, just clutch drop it. My girlfriends Saturn Ion can spin tire through first if it's wet LOL, it's little 165s can't keep up. If I clutch drop it, it will spin pretty good, too. And I can get it to chirp 2nd and sometimes 3rd if I'm hard on it- but I think that's mainly due to POS 165 Kumho's that were all of $55 mounted & balanced haha

Coming home from the movies, had a E36 3-series BMW try and play. My wife didn't understand why I didn't take the bait, lol. Not to mention the driver was all of 16, and probably in his parent's "beater".

As long as it wasn't an M, you probably would have whooped it. Personally, I would LOVE a 335Xi, but my bimmer friends all tell me X-drive sucks.

Interesting (about the X drive).... and yes, the 335xi is probably one of my top three picks-- that is, if I had that kind of disposable income

Oh yeah, that thing was a dog. The kid slammed on the gas, it dropped a gear and revved....but didn't go anywhere, lol. If Bimmers (non M of course) are anything close to Audis, they are super slow...

I know the old Z3 I drove was dog slow. But my friend's 335i and my other friend's Z4 M Coupe are both quick as hell.

Just like anything, they can be made quick. I have a few friends with Audi's that kill off the line.

Oh yeah, I've been in some pretty quick Audi's too... and they are very modable, with some nice options for aftermarket. I should have clarified by saying "stock":)

Two challenges tonight.

Early model 300ZX with four kids in it. Ignored them because...well...there were four kids in it. Tried to imagine if it was my kid in the other car, what I'd want someone to do.

And on the way home, a 2002-ish Mustang GT apparently tried to keep up with me from a light. I didn't know he was there and just did a launch to give my son a yee-ha on his way home from work, but I guess he stopped back far enough that I couldn't see him. Saw him at launch and didn't recognize the car until I backed off at the PSL. He did a fly-by and I realized he was trying to keep up.

Sorry, dude. Had I known, you'd have won. Bad example for my kid. :(

I took the MS6 out for a drive today, just because it was GORGEOUS outside. 70 degrees. Cool breeze. Sunny. Just beautiful.

Challenged by a douchebag-looking preppy in a 2009 328i. Made one of those last-minute lane-changes at a light so he'd be behind me. Got real close, then kept rocking so I knew he had an MTX.

I was going to ignore him until he rode my a$$ through the red light, so I hammered it.

He was one pissed off Bimmer owner when my $30K ($21K to me) Mazda let him bus lengths behind. :)

Maybe my speed is inconspicuous, because i have to date only been challenged once. Though it was a different story when i drove to Cali. I was challenged at least once every drive i took out in Cali.
