Postby kingtut » Sun Aug 02, 2009 9:14

Got done doing an exterior detail of the Speed, and my wife's ride. I used pretty much all Prima products.

- wash
- Mother's clay
- Swirl/Finish polish
- Amigo
- Banana Gloss

haha, thanks. You know, when I got finished I thought to myself that I could never hack it as a detailer! My shoulders, back, etc. are so sore...and I'm beat.

Unfortunately the house, garage, and gate all belong to my parents:(

We're still imprisoned in our condo...

Very nice. I just found out that the guy who moved into the rental house next door to us is an auto detailer by trade. Does all the work in his garage.

Hmmmmmmm.....

Either way. Still very cool. And i know what you mean about being stuck in a condo. I'm in an apartment for school and it sucks not having a garage and an easy way to wash my car.

Plans: Paint Calipers, Lightly tint headlights, get rid of side moldings, and do some other tinting.

It took me about 3 hrs. per car (with a quick interior clean) because I'm s-l-o-w....still getting used to the PC.

Unfortunately, it's not that clean anymore, boo!

Great job on the detail. It takes me a solid 4-5 hours to do the 8 if I start from scratch. That's by hand though, I need to get a proper polisher. With new paint on the car now, I have to wait a few months for wax.
