They are a set of JDM STI Spec C wheels. Wanted to keep it as OEM looking as possible, and liked these wheels. As a bonus, they came with a set of tires as well, Falken 452's with about 8k miles on them. Which was perfect, as I've been wanting to change tire sizes & go back to summers for a while now. They're 235/40/17's, whereas stock is 225/45/17. So, about 10mm wider, and slightly shorter/smaller tire diameter... needless to say, the speedo is a little off haha. However, the speedo is off when bone stock on these cars, so not a biggie. In Japan STI's run 235/45's & I suspect they use the same cluster, as in stock form at around 65mph, the speedo has always read 2-3mph faster than I'm actually going (verified via those speed detectors on the side of the road & my Garmin Nuvi), whereas now it's off by about 4-5mph on the freeway. Not a big deal though, I've always referenced the Garmin anyway.
The juicy details: Wheels are 17" x 8" wide (same as stock), 50mm offset (vs 53mm stock). Because they're OEM JDM STI wheels, they clear the Brembos!! With tires, they weigh a whopping 41 lbs. For reference, the stock wheels/tires weigh in around 45 lbs (still pretty light IMO), so saved about 4 lbs per corner. Also gives a nice little 2% gearing advantage, nice little bonus.
Took a quick pic with my iPhone yesterday, just wondering what you guys think?

P.S. Reason for new wheels: going to use stock wheels for snow tires/these wheels for summers. Tired of using all-seasons.

Can't justify it ya know?
