That would be nice lol. But thought i would ask how much would everything cost in the suspension to upgrade?

umm...depends if u wana do coilovers of springs/shocks or just springs.

i would just upgrade front/rear sway bars, put a front tower bar...and upgrade springs...youll need to upgrade shocks in about 3-5years if u only do springs because your stock shocks will wear out. or do coilovers (only downside is they will run 900-1500 bucks.)

would it be smart to upgrade everything in the suspension if i get the coilovers or get just the coilovers?

i would suggest sway bars and tower strut bar first. you will feel a huge improvement in steering and cornering with those. coilovers are good, but you will yield the biggest gains from the upgrades stated above since the stock springs and shocks are rreally decent. coilovers are the type of mod you can wait to get...unless your going to race on a track or do autoX where you need the super high end springs and shocks.

as a DD and 'weekend warrior', these would be your best bet.

heres two links to what would be a great improvement.

Cesaros wrote:anything exhaust related (meaning from the turbo back) will effect emissions in some shape or form. if you mean, will it make you fail?... no, unless CO emission standards become so ridiculous you have to actually have to have 2 cats to pass..which isn't too far fetched.

Negative, a cat-back will not effect your emissions at all. When they read your emissions, they are testing for various hydrocarbons ect in parts per million. Catalytic converters "filter" the exhaust your car emits, a muffler/resonator does not. That's why you hear of OEM's making "aftermarket" cat-backs (aka Mazdaspeed cat-back, Nismo, TRD ect) but you never hear of downpipes, as they can't legally replace the cats without changing emissions values (all cars are rated ULEV, ULEV II, PZEV ect).

Either way, if you would like proof, emissions tests are cheap, get your car tested and while there, completely remove your cat-back (or at least the midpipe) and have them test emissions straight off the cat, they should be about the same (within a small margin of variance).

Either way, should pass emissions no problem with only a cat-back. Hell, not only have I heard of people passing emissions with one a single hiflow cat, but have heard of people passing emissions with no cats at all... it's all in the fuel, and more importantly, the tune :)

I'm curious, how well was your stock turbo inlet attached to the turbo? Mine litterally slid right off and didn't need to loosen the worm clamp.

Something which shouldn't be forgotten is an upgrade rear motor mount or just stiffening the stock rmm. That and shifter bushings make the car much easier to drive smoothly. Especially any car that has other mods.

If I was gonna mod like mad, I'd do it in this order.

1. Rear Mount and Shifter Bushings, maybe short shifter
2. Intake and a Dashhawk
3. Lighter/Wider Wheels and Wider/Higher PerformanceTires-this makes it easier to get the power to the ground and control it.
4. Tuning/Fuel Pump
5. FMIC/TMIC
6. Coil-Over Suspension
7. Downpipe/Turboback

I dig my car as is, but that would be a monstrosity of a vehicle. I'm curious how the mods towards the end of that list would effect daily drivability.

I'd probably put tuning at the last part though...you would have to retune for the FMIC and downpipe again anyway...
