nope, your safe. They will continue to produce AP's. Other parts will cease however and they will concentrate on software only for the MS3 AP.

Granted this turbo is not efficient past 15PSI at this altitude, but it still makes for a lot more power available in the upper rpm range.

So, if engine mngmt. will allow you to hold boost and get more available power, how much of an effect will this have on longevity/reliability? Are we just making up for the high altitude, or are we negatively messing with the power output that Mazda intended...only to have an immediate power gain, but a boom-boom down the road:huh:?

There is always that chance, but at this altitude, we can definitely crank up the boost for what we have lost. That's one of those questions that nobody can give a def answer on unfortunately.

I even hit 17psi in 4th which quickly tapered down and held at 15psi. 1+2 gear were hitting 13-14psi as well. Looks like I will be investing in an AP before a BOV as mine is clearly working fine. For reference, my highest PSI in Colorado was 13psi, generally tapering down to 11-12. :( So I am losing 3-4 psi from elevation :( Makes me a sad panda, but hey, its not leaking

Now that I have a functioning gauge... I seem to be hitting 13psi max (generally using third to test). During WOT, I'm anywhere from 11-13psi on average.
