It came stock with the 300 straight six, but right now it has a 429CJ out of (we believe) a Torino Cobra

what year it the motor? any pics?

Yeah I do have a ton of pics, but they're on my comp at home. Here's an old shot of the engine, looks better now...

We think it came out of a '70-71. My dad swears it's actually a Super Cobra Jet, but I didn't see the internals of the motor when it was rebuilt so I'm not sure. The block and heads are definitely from a CJ or SCJ, but there's no difference between the two as far as I know, in terms of part numbers. It didn't have the factory carb or oil pump which are the only visible differences from the outside. Intake has been changed too. I don't remember why it's supposedly from a Torino and not a Mustang, Ranchero, Cougar, Cyclone etc...I'll have to ask him later.
