Reading the page tis is Racing Beats new header. Whats the benefits of swapping exhaust manifolds and how do they all differ? I asked Cork Sport this question and they told me Jack and Shi'ite.

with the header, a midpipe and a tune you could get a lot more (20hp or more) than with just a header (4hp). If you don't get a tune with it there will be minimal gains.

I bought a RB exhaust off an RX8Club member last night (whoooo!). SHould get it next week some time. I'll make a thread for the install.

I would assume that it is a lot like the RB header on my car. Does it require the mid pipe like my car does? On my car the header goes back too far and goes past the first cat. I've seen the RX-8 exhaust manifold and the RB header will make a big difference. With all the advancements in the RX-8 over the FB you would think they would have a better flowing mani. You may not be gaining much HP but you will see it in throttle response. It really helped my car. I would get the RB header over any other brand because the quality is amazing. They are heavy but they will out live the car. mine is about 10-15 years old and it looks like a year old comparable header.

I was just reading up on it and it looks like it is a direct bolt in and you are able to retain all emissions which is great. The also look to be close to equal length.

Don't forget, the 4hp was just the header. Once you get the engine breathing, you can re-tune it for greater gains. IE. intake, efi tune, ignition. All of those improvements will have a greater effect on an engine that can exhaust the gasses quicker. I know that's the biggest restriction on my car. I have the Racing Beat complete exhaust for stock port engines. I should have the road race header and two pre-silencers with two mid-pipes. But I don't have a spare $900 laying around right now.
