New COBB Short Shifter

Postby TheNewBlack » Sun Apr 19, 2009 9:14

Just picked up a Cobb double adjustable short throw shifter yesterday from Flatirons Subaru. Install was much easier than the TWM I put in the Speed 3. Shift response is great, love the feel of quicker shifting, couldn't stand the two foot shifter. Cant wait to do more to the WRX (Perrin TMIC & Cobb Springs are currently on the way)

Awesome! When my friend drove out with his STi i picked up a Cobb STS for him, and yeah, the instal is so much easier on the Suby than the Mazda. I like the way your linkage is set up much more than how Mazda designed the Speeds, seems a lot more secure and bulky.

Cant wait to see that TMIC and springs installed!

From what i have read, yes. Drop the subframe or something. No where near as easy as the rear bar.

Sounds like some work, let me know if you need an extra set of hands when you install.
