Ugh, what a hideous face. I like the lights, but the grille is just too over the top. I wouldn't buy a car that looked like that, regardless of performance. If you ask me though, all car manufacturers are out of touch with what the American public wants, not just Mazda.

agreed, I don't like the current styling trend that has been happening over the past few years..... have to go retro now.

Is all I can say.... Those guys in the aftermarket buisness will make a killing in front bumper sales if they can produce something decent. That front is just killing everything. Mazda needs to get off what ever crack they're on before they ruine all the Mazda lineup. That huge molded in badge in the front just needs to go. Pisses me off they ruine great looking cars. They ruined the 8, destroyed the 3, the 6 surprisingly is nice. Next up is the Miata to be butchered then the CX lineup. I'll be surprised if this next gen 3 sells anywhere as well as the current gen did.

As far as it looking like an STI... Well remember the STI copied the 3. So i reality it still looks like a 3. Just with an ugly front end and STI style tail lights.

I agree the newer model cars are looking too retro. The new Mustangs? GAG! I like the Shelby GT500 and a few others but the regular body style V6 and GT are ugly to me. I love the '03-'04 body style. As well as the '98 model.

The new STI's are not very attractive to me either, I think the Speed's are much sexier. A few people have told me my car looks like the EVO 10 in a way, I'll take that compliment
