this is the second time i'v been tagged and earlier I didn't really think much about it. I'v been tagged a few weeks back and kind of just brushed it off. but as I put the card in my wallet I gave it a look every time I opened it. so I thought why not give it a shot. i'v been a member of the dynamic racing 3000gt and stealth forums but that didn't go over well, so at first I was a little edgy but time passes and so do the cars we want to buy. I decided to give the forums a new try.
I'm the new owner of a 01 BRG Mx-5 SE, to be honest it feels a bit like a caddy in there with all the wood trim and the tan lether, and green exterior (feels like grandma car more than but for a price of 12k i'm not complaining too much. I love the car and hait it at the same time. I love how the car is a cheep, gas effiecent, sucks into cornors to the point where i'm sliding out of my seat before the tires even squel.
but at the same time it's falling apart. I already broke the locks on both doors to where I have to open them by hand now, and that dosn't work half the time. the transmissions vibrates and gives a grinding sound when ever under 3k RPMs and applying moderate gas, or when ever i'm in sixth gear. put a hole in the convertible top already by opening it too fast. within the 3 month period of my ownership the paint is already getting bad swirls in it. broke the gas cap, broke the cup holder, broke fuse box covering ect... and of corse my favorite would be someone hitting my car the first day I drove it home, what a happy surprise seeing the nose all scratched up and the license plat frame all beat up. I just dont enjoy the car.
guess it's just a bad year lossing a car and now having the other fall apart through my finger tips. not to be all mellodramtic and all, just had to get it out sometime.
heres a bit about me I LOVE cars, motor bicyles, and well, turbos. The pitches, screams, spool up or something I like to call Penut butter jelly time.
I owned a Dodge stealth, well until the tranny decided to die... this summer I picked up a motorcycle license, and will be hunting a bike down this spring. hopfully a Triumph Daytona 675, in red. but fate backhanded me a few times so far. so well see. as for my favorit car it would have to be a MKIV toyota supra. yeah yeah, it's a supra but this is the car that i can write poetry about. I guess it's the fact you take something to simple yet so elegant, and make dreams of it. the chance to something thats kind of bland and turn to something thats worthy of being called a beast.
not to drag on but I was tagged at FRCC. hope to meet you all and have good time here.
dont mind spelling Nyquil + sick = bad grammer
