Defensive Driving just has to be the default position of anyone concerned about themselves and their stuff. People are often so frazzled and distracted, self-absorbed and small-minded that this kind of thing is all too common.

I'm amazed at how many people just scrape one side of the windshield or just scrape a little port hole to view through.

Enjoy your Break and Happy Holidays.

Thanks bud. I tried the best i could for the conditions to avoid getting hit by him, but it was a red light and i had a bus in front of me, and cars to my left and right. Sadly there was nothing i could do :(

The worst is he made no, absolutly no attempt to get any of the ice or snow off his windshield. I kid you not, it was solid ice and snow, not even an attempt to get any off.

I didn't mean the defensive driving comment as a criticism of you. Maybe it sounded that way. Sorry, no offense. Sometimes your only option is just to let it ride and take what comes.

I would have to agree with you on this one Andrew. I was riding in my backseat on Tuesday when Angelo, his grandmother and I were going to dinner. Let's just say, not only could I feel every single bump in the road, but I could hear it as well. They almost sound rusty or maybe they were just frozen!

We have to find a solution to this. I've had mine replaced, and still hear them when it gets really cold... moreso on speedbumps.

I have some spray silicone lubricant made specifically for rubber and plastic against metal parts that I was using for RC Helis when I was into that. If I get bored with being inside during the chilly weekend, I might go buy some ramps and try to get under there and spray the bushings. See what happens.

I might just sit around all day as well. I had an insane day today and I need a relaxing weekend to groove right into my 12 days off (woo hoo) over Xmas and New Years.

Does anyone else have some ideas of what would be a good lubricator for that bushing area and the freezing temps?

Thanks,

G
