Can we get someone to update the first thread with the name of the restaurant, and correct location?

Low Impedance wrote:i cant stand that either. Summit does that to me sometimes.

The only part I've ever gotten from Summit I bought while I was in the desert, so I'm not sure how long they took to ship it out haha.

Brat wrote:i had to make my own gaskets for my exhaust and dp side, as well as the liquid cooler stem. bc no one in town had one......

The first gasket I had came with the manifold and was a complete piece of shit. The second one I actually made from high temp heavy duty gasket material that I got from American Speed here in town. That one held up alot longer than the first one, but still blew. I'm going all metal now. And I think I'll be replacing the one on the WG too while I'm at it.

GTConversion wrote:Wow, so I had no idea there was a mazda club in C Springs.. just stumbled across this from RX8Club. I swear I'd only seen maybe 5-6 RX-8s in my entire time here, and maybe a few Miatas and 7s. Good to know. :D Maybe I'll come meet you guys one of these weekends.

Damn there are quite a few rotaries in C Springs, haha. Definitely come out this Friday if you can and it would be cool if you could make it to the dyno day on the 25th too.

Oh yeah, Zico said he's helping on dyno day too, so we should have enough.

I got one of the metal gaskets today, but I'm going to just put it in Saturday I think. I'm afraid I wouldn't have the car done by tomorrow night. Although since we're meeting indoors now there's not much reason to HAVE to drive the 7 haha, so I might pull it apart tomorrow after work and see if I can get it done before going to OC's.
