I've got an '04 VR RX-8 that I've been babying the heck out of. I picked it up about three weeks ago in CA and drove it all the way back to CO, making the obligatory stop in Vegas. Third owner, and from the looks of it the previous owners took great care of it. Only 35k miles on it, and I got a steal for the price, including the 100k warranty. It's basically a stock sport RX-8 that he tried to 'convert' to a GT (hence GTConversion) by reupholstering steering wheel, all 4 seats and side panels with the black & red leather, chrome rotary front and rear, appearance kit, strakes, adding OEM fog lights, pearl fuel door, VR rear spoiler, and even stuff like silver window switches and silver vent bezels.
I think the only NON OEM part on there is the Team Voodoo shift knob, which I like a lot.. about half way between stock and short shifter, without the noise.And I know, I know.. pics or it didn't happen - I've got some camera phone pics from CA and the drive, but hopefully I'll get some better ones up.
Lookin' forward to going to meets, etc.. sometime in the new future, as well.
