6s Springs?

Postby audionut » Fri Sep 19, 2008 9:14

With all the choices in springs out there, has anyone had good luck with a particular brand? I will be installing a set of MS6 18" rims with 215-45 tires and want to stay away from bottoming out and no fender rolling. Any thoughts?

I have had luck with my Mazdaspeed springs, they lower the car about 2 inches all around. Just make sure that no matter whether you have the sedan or the hatchback buy the hatchback springs. The sedan springs make the rear wheels tuck under the fender. I think you should be good on rolling the rear fenders. I have 235's on my 6 and I barely had to roll mine for clearance.

I think alot that has to do with whether or not you need to roll ur fenders is the backspacing on the wheels you have. On my 3, the tein s-tech springs lowered it 2 inches or so and I don't really have any issues with the sr racing wheels w/ 225/40r18, but I've heard other people say they do rub.

Something to consider.
