TPMS issues
Well, probably one month after I got my MS3 I started having tpms problems. When I had the stock wheels, the sensor would indicate low pressure in the mornings, no biggie, 2 minutes of driving it would go away. Then, once I got my new wheels not only did this continue (despite tire pressure) but the TPMS light would also start to flash on the dashboard on a hot day. Manual indicates some sort of malfunction (also indicates not to use them on any other wheels - bs). The problem went away by (get this) removing the battery cover....weird (perhaps a fluke). Well, now its 70F outside and its started it all over. First it will beep in the morning due to tire pressure being low (just checked it) and then it will start flashing indicating malfunction...seems to be an understatement. Anyone run into anything like this? I will likely take it to the dealer but fear being harassed about non-factory mazda wheels? Perhaps a battery is already shot in one of the sensors?

That sucks. I had my first tpms light come on once we hit that cold spell recently. Topped everything off and it went away. I've been wondering about the tendancy for these buggers to malfunction though.
Where did you get your aftermarket wheels at? Can they, or would they warranty something like that??
