Bad News... I won't be able to get the car ready in time for the birthday bash.
Had a question, does anyone have a spare shift knob for a Mazda sitting around with no car for a home????? I need one and don't want to spend a lot of cash. Tried the cheap way out (ebay) but that was a stupid idea (working on a refund). PM if you can help me out.

That is where I got mine. I think I payed about $15 or $20. Not the best quality but I've had mine for about 4 years and it has not broken. I plan on getting a nice leather one soon but I have a lot of things on my list that are more important to spend $50+ on.

you know g? i'm guessing your going to be taking some pictures this next weekend when we start doing some work on your wagon. (don't forget to show the pics of the manifold that someone ported) but i think i'm going to be sure to wear my honda hat so people can tell the differnce between us sice we look so much alike. you know how were always getting mistaken for brothers and all.
^^We do look alike...
I was thinking of getting some springs (thanks Tbot...ass) for the protege to fix the wheel gap. My plan for the car is a good daily driver, not a race or track car so emphasis on ride comfort is top of the list. Below is a list of the companies that offer springs for my car.
Question: Has anyone used springs from any of these companies?
1. B+G Lowering springs $199.00
2. Eibach Pro Kit $209
3. Espelir $260
4. H&R $289.95
5. Megan Racing $119.95
6. Progress Sport Springs $179.95
7. Racing Beat $195.00

Let me know if you want to get rid of them. I would rather spend less money than more and a set of used would be fine with me.

Before we start to add all the performance parts we need to make sure the basics are taken care of. So this is where we currently are:
The reason we are missing an improtant part of this car will be found after we take a close look at the engine block:
And we found the reason for the holes in the block:
So after i payoff a couple of things i am going to get started.
It took a day for me, but i was new at it and i made a label for everything so that it would be easy to put it all back together.
If you need any help, let me know. I am more than willing to help you out.
Where are you getting your engine from?
