Haha, no. Crystal and I went searching for a Starbucks and we took Josh's GPS in my car, so Crystal was translating the GPS to me and it lead us in a circle and to a Firestone Tire Center which was only about 300 feet from where the meet was. It was funny, we couldn't stop laughing!

I counted 15 cars, but that was after Brat left. 6 of them were from Denver. It was a good meet

yeah driving the ford isnt fun... but ive allocated a fuel pump i just need to like work on it actually.... thats easier said than done..

It was fun all. At one point, there were 6 or 7 rotaries there as well. Thankfully, the drive back wasn't nearly as frustrating as the drive there.

Yeah sorry guys and gals, the single turbo FD still isn't finished. First, NO ONE in this town has a belt and IC coupling that I need. Then last night I primed my fuel and found my primaries leaking from the o-rings, so now we're working on that and still trying to get my downpipe welded together. And I won't get the coupling and belt until mid next week. Then I still have to get it tuned. Oh, and now I have a dead battery, even though I didn't leave anything on. What a freakin project. HOPEFULLY by this next Friday I'll be there with a complete project.

Thanks Chris, I appreciate the offer. As it turns out, the guy I got the fuel kit from sent me the primary fuel rail for an RX-8 instead of for a 7, so that's why the bracket had to be modified and the injectors wouldn't fit in the holes haha. I ordered one this morning, it will be here tomorrow afternoon so I'm going to put it in and check for leaks. Then I'll be waiting for the belt and coupling still. Battery is charged (supposedly, I haven't tried it yet), and the downpipe is welded and installed. WOOHOO!!!

I wouldn't of thought the belt would take that long to get. Do you think the car will be on the road this week?

Well it's an odd size cause I didn't realize the UO pulley I got was an underdrive pulley, so the belt I WAS using was suddenly too big. I guessed I needed one about 2 inches shorter, and that one was way too short, so I had to shoot for the middle. The closest one was in Georgia, hopefully it will be here tomorrow. Although I put on the new fuel rail and it still leaks. I had gotten it to stop leaking while I was priming the system but when I started the car it started leaking again and it sounds like the 787B or Furai, which is pretty cool hahaha.

Shit, leaking again? That really sucks. Does it still blow a smoke screen?

On a side note, I will be at the meet tomorrow. I know at least one FD won't be there and the other one is questionable, Eric!

Well folks, it's running now and not leaking. I'm still waiting for the alt/WP belt though. So if it comes in tomorrow, I don't see any reason right now why I won't be there. WOOHOO!!! My strut bar doesn't fit anymore now though, haha.

OH and the reason it sounded like the 787B was because I removed the Idle Speed Control and forgot to put it back on haha.
