You'll never get even close to what the dealer wants for each wheel. The Racing Heart wheels used on the Mazdaspeed Protege are very sought after wheels in the Protege community. New price from the dealer is about $500 each. Most sets go for $400 online. I'd think you might be able to get about the same seeing how they are in good condition and have nearly new tires.

they should fit. I think all Mazda 5 bolt wheels from 2001 and on should fit any other Mazda with 5 bolt wheels- execpt where brake clearance is an issue, but that should only be with 15" and 16" wheels on the MS3/6s.

Can anyone tell me a little more about the tires and the size? Are these all seasons or more of a summer tire? Is the decreased size (I am mainly worried about the width) going to cause me any issues besides the obvious decrease in handling ability?

If I can get that info, and it's all good, I will pull the trigger on these.

These will fit just fine, the ratio's are all very close that there will not be any issues. I have RX-8 rims on my 5 in a 225/40/18 w/ zero problems fitment wise. I know of other guys on the 3 forums that run regular 17" 3 rims for winter on the speed 3- these are identical w/ exception of the spoke design.

As for the tires... well... they are "not so great". They are labeled all season but I found them to be worthless in anything but dry, and I now run dedicated winters on the car(s). This is still a great deal for the rims- as they are perfect and will be unique for your car this winter. Go for it and sell the tires to someone turning in an end of lease 3 series BMW (same size).

Buy the set for the wheels and craigslist/ebay the tires and get a set of Blizzaks, Icebears or whatever dedicated winter tires are available in this MSP size.
