I'd buy one- I also think it was a good idea to get Burt involved$ :710ebeb: Too bad you couldn't have these in time for the birthday bash....that would be helpful in getting rid of that quantity-[/b]

Hmmm. I wonder if getting Burt involved is a posibbility. Give some up front to sales and some back in service with a little forsale sign. People not even in the club may buy. Would just have to keep track of how many we give'em and how many have gone. Mebe sell X amount to Burt and they just keep the profit.

I wish we had it for the B-day bash but we need a page dedicated to the b-day bash.

Diddo to both Greek8 and R-7Drifter. From a sales aspect/marketing/money aspect this would be the wise choice. Heck- Burt, Puinkus?, etc. could have a banner or some sort of advertisment on there some where- This would benefit everyone involved and cut costs to the club!

I'd buy one, and I agree completely on seeing if Burt and/or Penkhus would want in. A sponsor would be nice.

Ya, i have to agree here somewhat.. having them somewhat sponsor the calander would help out alot.. all we would have to do is slap their name and phone # on it here and there and it would be fine... Maybe even get all of ours sponsors to help out.. Each month could be a new sponsor and along with the pics of our cars, will be a thumbnail or back ground photo of the shops logo and phone number..

I think a good idea would be to feature actual members on the club. Not on the '09 calendar since you already have a ton of ideas flowing into it already. But maybe in the future if there are more calendars to come. Each month you could feature a different mazda model and it could be a picture of more than one. That way nobody feels left out. Just a thought if the calendars aren't just a one-time deal. I think it'd be pretty cool.

Ok people this is going to start moving forward. We have Lee onboard as photographer and I'm sure Andrew as well just gotta PM him. The best time to take these pics is either Sunrise or Sunset. So we have to plan on when and where these shoots are gonna take place. I'm gonna start another sign up thread to get everything going. I'll have the months and which cars are featured that month. You all can sign up for who will be in the main photo. Minimum of 3 and a Maximum of 4-5 depending on location. Also sign up for individual thumbnail shots. Just keep in mind we have 18 months to cover so we can get a lot of people in.

Ashleigh got the Mock Calander in and this is what it will most likely end up looking like. The calander pages are really thick and nice. It's not cheap quality thin paper. Has a nice pearl finish/shean to it. The pictures on the top page we are gonna have those stretched out to that the whole top page will be filled with out a white border.

Pretty much ya. Do you have a specific month you want the proteges for? We can do that. I'm still confused as well. I made up a long list HERE. Just tell me a month and if you want to be in the Main pic or thumbnail.

IMO June should be 6's, since that seems to be the theme you are going for (Month number matching the cars).
