Hmmm. Where are you gonna get the AP from. I liked it and am gonna buy another shortly from MM (MazdaMazniac on RX8Club.com) He will give you free calibrations and get a right tune for you. you can get it from Mazdamanizc.com. As for shops that will tune it UPP will. Just need RX-7 Drifter to chime in and let you know where it is. Revolutions Performance may or may not tune for you, they are a lub sponsor.
What TK are you thinking about?
im thinking about getting a accessport. im looking to get a turbo on it soon just want to have my ducks in a row.[/b]

Well if your stock, no not necessarily. You just use the maps COBB provides. But if you buy from MM and he will send you custom tune via email which I needed since I have an aftermarket intake. In some cases it even helps to get a better tune than COBBS that way it's safer. When you do go FI you will need to get a Dyno tune for it. But if your basicall stock it's not wortht the money IMO.

thanks greek. yeah UPP would be the shop for you. it's located at Foutain and Academy in between Sinister graphics and a four wheel parts store. from the runs i have seen on his dyno it's dead on. CK is the guy to talk to about the dyno and if i remeber corectly it's i think around $65 for 3 pulls on the dyno. the shop number is 719-575-0202. if your looking to do the COB he dose those also. and also if your looking FI do us all a favor DO NOT go with the Greddy/ Trust kit.
T4 turbo, custom magnaflow exauhst, intake

Or you could call frank at SR-Tuning. YOu'd be hard pressed to find a person who undrstands fuel injection better. Next time you see an F-22 Raptor on TV or in the air, you'll be seeing his handy work. SR-Tuning

As far as tuning I've heard great things about both Frank and CK. That would be a prefernce call on your part but I tend to the side of CK because he does more than just what you pay for most of the time. I've been running the Greddy turbo kit with the COBB AP for about 2000 miles now and no real problems besides the Greddy E-Manage and intial install hiccups. I think you'd be hard pressed to build a custom turbo kit for cheaper than you can buy one. I've heard great things about the Esmeril kit as I know Greek will agree and in all honesty I have no major problems with the Greddy turbo kit with the AP. Just do your research and ask questions and you'll find what's right for you. Oh and I am no running 11psi on the Greddy with no problems

Well too be honest I think the huge lack of experience with the Renesis was a major set back and it would have been much easier if we would've known what we were getting into before hand. We aren't mazdamaniac :0

I don't think so. It was just a lack of someone not connnectin the O2 sensor.
