Actually vapor lock occurs when the fuel changes state (from a liquid to a gas) while still in the fuel pump system (pump, lines, filter, carburator....) either from excessive heating of the fuel (engine too hot) or due to lower pressure (high altitude) which causes the the fuel system to lose pressure and stall the engine.[/b]
i rarely get vapor lock in my speed but my dads 626 turbo got it badly and my moms protege is aweful i cant stand it, it has some serious issues with vapor lock
