something funny that I would like to share with everyone:

my husband recently did laundry and my smart key happened to be in my pants pocket. for those of you who don't know, the smart key is flat and about the size of a credit card. in the side of it there is a key that slides into the housing that you can remove to start the car or unlock the car manually. otherwise there is button on the driver, passenger, and trunk that you can push when standing next to the car that will send a signal and unlock the door. the ignition has a cover that you just turn to start. its a really convenient option from the factory that I believe was around 800.00 bucks. anyway, one of these expensive ass keys got washed for the full amount of time, detergent, rinsing, spinning and all. then dryed in the dryer for a full 120 mins. the key ended up in the lint trap in two piece and when joe attempted to retrieve it he dropped the actual key portion down the lint trap and into the dryer vent. now we have to take apart the dryer or use a magnetic something to retrieve it. the key still works perfectly fine and is now nice and clean : ) point of the story is damn those things are really built well. also, this isn't the first time this has happened and probably not the last either. oops!

What can I say. I am just an ass for doing the laundry LOL. Now keep in mind that yes I have done this before but I am not the one that leaves the stupid ass damn pice of shit key in my pocket. (sorry for the rant but I have lost two of the stupid things and washed them countless times.)Morale of the story is that the damn things are built like a brick shit house LOL.

It's probably a good thing it got put through the dryer. Sometimes electrical components can hold up to getting wet, as long is they're quickly dried. Of course, some things will get pwned instantly when getting wet, but your key card got lucky.

I think you fell victim for your husband's trap.

Guys guys! Always volunteer to do the laundry! Just make sure you mix white and red cloths, dry everything for hours until they fit a baby monkey. Sure, ruining the whole wardrobe may be costly, but your spouse will never ask you to take care of the laundry ever again.

You don't like to cook? Well, you should surprise your spouse by showcasing your culinary skills: burn everything, and never have to cook again.

Oh, nice keys btw :)
