Finally got a good race this morning worth mentioning...

I came to work early this morning, and stayed up late last nite

Finally got a good race this morning worth mentioning...

I came to work early this morning, and stayed up late last nite, so I was really tired, and not really in the mood for anybody to mess with me. I was sitting at a light to make a left turn, in the inside turn lane. A really nice 350Z was in the outside turning lane. He kept looking at my car, and I could feel him trying to get my attention, but like I said, Im tired, and dont want no shit... anyways, light turns green, and he bolts off the line taking the outside turn like a prick, almost going sideways around the corner, and then slowed down to wait for me. I just drove normal, got to 45, and this guy (early 30's) would speed up, slow down, speed up, slow down... I looked at him, and he had this dtupid looking Nissan grin on his face..

Now a guy like me can only handle so much tanting before I get into the mood, so I politely dropped 'er into 3rd (my favorite gear), and gave it a tap. The BOV let out a big "pssssh", and this dude has the nerve to laugh. I said fuck it, and grabbed the wheel.. he must have been in 2nd, cause his car was screamin like a damn honda, we left at the same time, and immediately I pulled from him like he WAS in a honda... got from 45 to 85-90 in a heartbeat, basically whooped his ass. What was the greatest is, we get to the next stop light, and he motions me to roll down my window and says" Hey dude, I think theres something wrong with your car! When you shifted, you let out a huge puff of dark smoke! Hope everything's ok" ... I laughed at him, and said, "Hell yea it did!! Did you notice that between 3rd and 4th when I was ahead of you? or between 4th and 5th, when I was kicking your ass?" He non chalantly gave me the bird and drove off.... :1a98aa81:

2) I don't get "ass hurt" when I fail at friendly battle
3) I garuntee all of you wouldn't be talking like this about the 350Z at sea level. Enjoy your elevation.

Nice one Eric.

I had a little run in with 2 cars yesterday goin down to the springs. One was a MAZDA. We played nearly the whole time from Denver to the springs. We even got off at the same exit and entered into the same neighborhood. Lets just say those old 13B's are no match for the renny. The second car was a ford. Not sure whitch model. Mebe a 500 not sure. debadged and had a Kuronic Kustumz sticker ont the back. Well me and the 7 passed him up and he wanted to join. Once we got out of traffic he stepped on it next to me. I was late getting on it but I cruised on by him. That was fun. I'm glad they were both slower than me.

You do relize that its the same race up here or at sea level. Its not like the MS6 has magical powers and is not effected by the altitude.

It's effected but by way less than NA. The 8 and the Z are 14 sec cars at sea level. Of course depending on the driver.

Um no its not the same race. Ever wonder why stock '03-'06's Z's run 15.3 at Bandi and low 14's high 13's at sea level? Its cause a N/A engine is effected more by elevation that a F/I engine. Check out my stock dyno graphs showing corrected vs uncorrected power.
