I came across this Lotus Elise sitting on the side of Interlocken Loop just North of the entrance to 36 today....totally unattended! I couldn't resist pulling up and taking some pics of my car next to it. Who the hell would leave a $60,000 sports car unattended on the side of the road?

Where was the owner of that Subaru wagon?

It's just a car really. People commute in much more expensive cars all the time.

True....people commute in $60,000 cars that you see everyday. You're telling me you wouldn't bat an eye at this car sitting either broken down/stolen/out of gas on the side of the road?
...Subaru wagon? funny.

The reason I brought up the Subaru wagon was to imply that maybe this isn't a completely abnormal place to park.

And AAA has been reporting a steep rise in the number of people running out of gas. Could be the case here.

And just because there's a Toyota engine in the back of that thing, it still has European electronics, which because of their ban on lead in their electrical solder, tends to have issues.

Is it driving? I can't tell if there's a driver. He's taking a really WIDE birth if he his. He looks like he's up against the curb on that side of the street.

There's one for sale at Saturn North....ya...that's what I said....They had to have purchased it at an auction...no way that someone would trade a Lotus for a Saturn Aura....

Oh boy...I would have sat next to it and waited for the owner to come back. "Excuse me sir, do you have any grey poupon? No? Ok, can you adopt me? I am housebroken, I don't bite or lick people, your friends will think I'm cute!"

It's not what you drive, it's how you drive it.
