Holy ugly. One thing the new GT-R isn't is pretty, and the G35 coupe is a rather nice looking car. Why ugly-fy it?

HID EEE OUS

I really like the new GT-R (except for the tails....but I've hated every Skyline's tail). This just looks bad. Really bad.

Is Tim feeling ok? The GT-R is just WOW. That thing above needs lots of work still to make it look decent. Just looks wrong.

I was at Discount tire the other day waiting for my car to be done and there was a young guy (early 30's) who had a late model Porsche Carara S. I struck up a conversation with the guy about his car and the race tire he was putting on. He said that he does a lot of tack stuff down in Pueblo with it but was planning on getting ride of it. Why? I asked. I mean he had a sweet Porsche. He goes on to tell me that he has a new GT-R on order and that he should be receiving it here by the end of August or so. He was the second guy in the state to put one on order and ended up paying like 15% over MSRP to get one. WOW!!! I wish I had that kind of cash.

From a technical standpoint, the GT-R is a great car (although a little too porky). Looks wise, it's ugly. While GTRs have always been "cool" cars, none of them have been drool worthy in terms of looks. But hey, looks are subjective.

I really never liked how the GTR's looked but this one is completely different.
