Removing Emblems
So I am getting ready to remove my Mazda6 and V6 emblem (including the dealership's logo). I have been doing a little research and it looks like a hair dryer (high heat) with either floss or credit cards wrapped in thin cloth will do the trick. Anything I should know about making sure I don't bubble or scratch the paint??

Easy, fishing string with 15lb or higher strength and just saw the e mblem off don't really need a hair dryer or anything but you can use one if you want. I've done countless cars now this way. very easy if you want me to do it I can.

Will you be at the Hamburger Stand tonight? If you can do it then, that would be awesome.

I would say from my experience having to remove decals and what not at my old job, keep the heat even and don't let it get too hot. Altho then again we were using an industry heat gun vs. a hair dryer so you might not have that problem. Also, I think a credit card would be fine even with out a cloth wrapping. I would say whatever you end up using, find an area that isn't noticeable with paint on it (i know on trucks that i worked on i would always go for the inner wheel well) and try to scratch the paint. If it doesn't scratch, ur money to use that on the badges.
Again, this is just from my experience and what I would do if I was doing it.
Now aren't the emblems actually pinned on? i.e. not with adhesive?

BMWZoom check the http://www.mazda6club.com and see if there are any pins on the badges for your car besides the M badge.
