What about the sonic by chapel hills mall? Does anything ever go on there? In Grand Junction that was the big hang out spot. With it being at the mall there is a lot of parking right there. also there is a car wash on the other side of the mall.

That's a pretty good idea but depending on time we risk drawing idiots and security in those areas are pretty strict because of the idiots. Drifter it's your turn to chime in, you know the area better.

I usually wash my car at the car wash there by chapel hills mall.. Then head over to the large empty parking lot across the street and dry it off.. If you all are interested in washing our cars one day, then lets pick a day and time to do so.. Im game for tomorrow (thursday) sometime in the afternoon like around 2,3 or 4 if anyone else wants to meet up.. The weather is suppose to be great for the next 7days so its good to wash the car.. I just went on a 900mile road trip this past weekend, So im eager to get off all the damn dead bugs and road tar off my car...

Let me know if you guys wanna maybe do this..

And what would we be doing at those spots??

I say, lets all go wash our dirty stinky cars first.. then cruz off to some spot for a quick bite like sonic or something..

I also don't see the point of that.

I'm at work to 5:30 downtown so the car washing will not. also washing my car does nothing for the way it looks.

I forgot that a lot of car people get together in the parking lot where Grocery Warehouse used to be at Powers and Constitution. Everything from street rods to bikes. They gather on Saturday night starting around dusk. I went there once and saw what appeared to be a club of FC RX-7s rolling out. Huge parking lot and lots of cool cars. Maybe we should consider that....We can set up our own spot and put up a club banner. Does anyone have a club banner down here?

We don't have a club banner. I'm up for doing that some times.

If we do the GW thing, then it would have to be like you said,, early in the night when the responsible crowd is still there. and the old folgies have their next classic hot rods out there to.. If you your still there later in the night then thats when the stupid teenie boppers come out and drift in the parking lot and do burn outs and almost hit people..

But ya, that could be a good idea though if we met up there say around 6ish or so and stayed for a couple of hours..

I would be up for GW some time. I will not be able to go every week because that is my time to spend with the wife.
