Welcome.

With the Hankook window banner on the STi, do you do any type of motorsports with it? Autox, Rallyx......?

And uh, what's the likelyhood of you letting a CMZC member go free if you pulled over said member on that stretch of interstate??? ;)

Yep, AutoX.

Was actually a Factory sponsored driver with Hankook 2 seasons ago, but now they are so big they pulled individual sponsorships to sponsor entire series, ie mazda cup.

In regards to Ticky's it is pretty much up to the officer type thing. I don't even waste my time with cars that are not going 15 over. If i wait 20 seconds I will get someone at 20 over. Things we generally give ZERO room with are, following to close, 2 second gap min, No seat belt, and any speeding 5 or more over in a construction zone. 30 over on i70 and its off to jail we go. Drunk drivers get a ZERO tolerance straight to jail free ride. Also starting a crack down on illegal window tint, no im not talking about the 20 to 25% nickel and dime stuff, im talking the yahoo's that put like 5% all the way around. Believe me if you had this job and your trying to walk up on a car with that dark a tint, you would know why it is a big officer safety thing, when we can't see your hands it pushes up the anxiety level about 100%.

If any one is interested in going for a ride along let me know I will get you the paper work, maybe I can get you to join up!

P.s. Don't count to much on the Radar detector, I'm a instant on Lazer only type guy, and if you figure from a couple thousand feet i can paint a 3" target, you can pretty much figure the gee wiz Lazer blockers, shifters etc may be money better spent on some other cool parts.

Well that's good to know. I typically don't speed much more than 5 mph over in non-construction zones. In the zones, I probably watch my speedo more than the road making me more of a hazard doing that than speeding through the zone.

Have they figured out how to do rolling Laser yet? As far as I know, Laser has to be shot from a stationary point. If rolling Laser ever gets implemented, we're totally screwed.

And what type of cruiser do you have? Anything cool or just the standard issue Crown Vic?

I have a Littleton cop friend and I keep meaning to take him up on his offer for a ride along. One of these days..... He's always good for some awesome stories.

What about speeding in construction zones when there are no workers around?

Aren't laser jammers illegal in CO? What's the fine for that? I tried researching it once and couldn't find it anywhere...
