Even the cars tht get 35mpg on the highway only get 22-24 in the city, so i wouldn'e be able to see enough savings to justify the expense.[/b]
My Saturn never got less than 30 mpgs with my daily driving- lots of 5500 rpm shifts and it didn't seem to matter what speeds I cruised at. At the road course, it would drop into the teens- but that's what lots of extended WOT. I was either WOT or full on the brakes. Do that for 4 or 5 twenty minute sessions.
