That's why. They are scared of it. They know you wanna go for it so they chicken out.

But I did have some girl in a subie wagon. Don't know year or model want to race for some reason. Her BF or freind or brother or cousin or whatever was in the passanger seat telling her to floor it. Well it was no match. In the rain to. From the light I casually took off flooring it at a steady rate giong from 6th EB to Speere SEB. Well when I got to 35 (speed limit) I hear her car trying so hard going slowly past me. Sounded like it was running low on oil or something. Didn't sound pretty at all. I think that thing is gonna go soon.

Second SRT-4 challenge tonight. Thanks to Drifter, I ended up at the Circle-K/Shell "meet" tonight. (As a side-note, Drifter, next time there will be a bunch of people in the same color shirts due to "family" reasons at a meet, please let me know so I leave my kid AT HOME.) Anyway, one of the participants -- member of COlorado SRT club -- wanted to race me. Even promised to turn off his boost controller. I politely refused. Very politely.

Not my kind of meet, Drifter. Nice cars (except the Ricer and the TC that was duct taped together), but way too much race action for me.

Took my 13 year old boy, Kobly.

And I'd never met Drifter, so I didn't know what to expect. I will say this -- CMZC had a great turnout. Me, Memphis, Drifter, Ghost, Freak, another MSP, and an RX-8 I didn't recognize. We all kind of slipped off to our own corner and talked Mazda stuff while some tool in a Supra drifted around the liquor store parking lot behind us, damn near wrecking a few times.

Nah, you're cool. Like I said, I only get mad when someone treats her badly.

It was a nice turnout, but I don't think a lot of the CMZC guys expected the...atmosphere to be what it was. Teggy club was there. SRT club. Dumbass ricer club. Etc.

Funny, I think the MS6 is less conspicuous than the MS3 and I get challenged all the time, Andrew. I need to de-badge, so they won't see "Mazdaspeed" and want to run.

Anyway, that'll be the last time I show up to that little get-together. Not into the whole street racing scene, and the non-CMZC folks there weren't those I'd normally want around my kids...

I swear... Chris you've gotten challenged more than me and had yer car only a few months. It's just not fair :( Although I think that may be because its the springs :P
