I swear I read a thread, on this CMZC, regarding a spin-on filter mod the the S3. I can't find it now. Has anyone done this mod and does it void warranty? SillTerhar parts dept says YES, it does void warranty. The stock filter is inexpensive but it is small and somewhat laborious. I believe in several oil changes during break-in, I believe in synthetic oil and I believe in big filters. Two filter changes per life of the synthetics life.

Save yourself some money and grief, just buy the K&N or Mobile 1 filters. They cost about $12, and they filter better than any others on the market. The K&N also has the best resistance to bypass and burst pressure rating. I only use the K&N on my rotary.

I was looking for an adaptor to the existing filter housing. Not having an S3GT until July makes it tough to know what I really want but now that you mentioned filter relocation.......?
Is it greddy.com? I don't know what greddy is?

Streetunit.com has what I'm looking for, I think, but I don't know about the filter it uses Mazda pN LF10 14 302. I'll have to compare it with a WIX I guess.
