Ok I really don't care where I get it done. I will take your word for and when I have the money to do it I will get in touch with him. Who does Brian work for? O and I have talked to Andrew about this b4 but are u the one who did a full sound system swap? If so I would kinda like to see it.

As you already know my knowledge of sound systems is pathetic, Lee (Lightnin McQueen) is the guy that did the full system in his MS6.

I got seriously screwed by cars toys. I will never use them again. They will sell you what they are able to sell, which is 80% crap. It's unfortunate, but thankfully cmzc has a great hook up.
Bryan owns and operates Mile High Sound Designs. His work is amazing and you will not beat his prices. If you need some ideas, hit him up, or you can check out my ride to get some ideas too.

I wish Mazda would recognize the Bose 9" OPEN AIR (WTF) sub as a defect by design and offer an aftermarket 10" fitment and replacement.

FYI looks like turnaround on this for me is going to be a little less than 48 hours (took the car in yesterday afternoon, will have the new unit installed tomorrow morning. Supposed to take about an hour). Hopefully as they get this figured out they can order units for people without them having to come in first.

They have to get the specific part number per car to order these as there are '8' different radio setups for our cars yucky.. Turnaround is 24 hours they ship them overnight.

Apparently Mazda's policy is to pay for two days worth of rental for a loaner, so if they're really doing these in 48 hours or less you should be OK with a loaner. I didn't get a loaner because at Sil Terhar they told me it might take a week to get the proper unit.

I love the way this car drives but Mazda obviously made a mistake with this 2008 1/2 in terms of changing the sound system. My guess is they were trying to save a few bucks by putting the same system that goes in the CX-7 into the Speed3.
