They are taking over.

For the rotary compromising a small segment of Mazda's total fleet, I think it's the most popular engine on this forum.

So here is the scoop:

My name is Elliott, I am 21 and I am a Junior at the School of Mines in Golden.

I just got the new ride, a 2008.5 Mazda 3i Sport, 5 speed, Sunlight Silver. Come to find out from a new acquaintance (Columbia28) who lives with an old friend that this group and forum exists. And even better, I found out that the guy that sold me my Mazda is also on here. I worked with Josh at BURT Mazda (posts as Freezing CX-7), even though someone else got the commission cause I talked to someone else initially (which still doesn't make sense to me). I just hope he got something out of it, cause he was significantly more knowledgeable than my original salesman!

In any case, I have had the 3i for a little over 3 days now and couldn't be happier with it. I drove a 97 Jeep before this, so this is a huge upgrade for me, and it is amazing!

I intend to be around here regularly, so I look forward to meeting all of you, here and hopefully in person too, and checking out all the Mazdas!

And big thanks to Josh, you helped a lot man!

Elliott[/b]

Welcome Elliot. My wife works in Golden, your campus is beautiful. If you're free Saturday join up. http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1613

Yeah but the rotaries separate Mazdas even more from the Hondas, Subies and Mitsus. Trust me I am a big fan of all Mazdas but how cool is it when a bunch of Rex's line up at a meet and represent?

We're looking at a month minimum before I'm even close to good. I've been doing research on the 13B-REW TT swap and I think that's my plan unless anyone has a better idea?
