Dude i have a question.. i am using some "wax as you dry" Eagle One wax.. and i am using a microfiber cloth to dry. it works "ok" but i noticed all these little micro scratches and i can't figure out why i followed the instructions and i don't even use the brush at the car wash..
the only thing i can think of is that i used the towel more than once and it got a little dirty...
will a traditional wax cover up the micro scratches and what is your recommendation?

I bought my husband the Mothers polish ball with Mothers wax. He attached it to his drill and went over the whole car, and I followed behind with a terry cloth and wiped it off.. Both of our cars looked AWESOME, and it only took about 2 hours, that was including the wash as well... well worth the money!

There are only two products I would use. Mothers and Zaino. The key to a great finish is using a clay bar once or twice a year...and yes, a clean cloth when polishing is scarily important.

I second the Zaino and clay.. See my newb post for picts of the results on my caliber. PS.. NEVER use a microfiber cloth on the paint. Great for interior but not for the exterior. High qual white cotton towels only. Wash with liq detergent, no softener and dry about 90% then air dry. Based on recommendations of the Zaino site that most follow like the bible.

All of that stuff sucks. None of it will make my car look like new. I want spray paint to look like a 4k paint job.

Totally...I need to order some Zaino product. Personally, I would say Zaino is simply the best...hands down.
