Has anybody heard of when this is coming out? Streetunit has preorders on their website now. Im wondering how it will stack up to CP-E....the unit seems to come 'pre-mapped' to your specific aftermarket parts from Streetunit themselves. Check it out

Brake Horsepower (BHP) is the measure of an engine's horsepower without the power loss caused by the transmission, gearbox, differential, water pump, and other auxiliary components such as alternator, power steering, and AC compressor. Thus the prefix "brake" refers to where the power is measured: at the engine's output shaft, as on an engine dynamometer. The actual horsepower delivered to the driving wheels is less. An engine would have to be retested to obtain a rating in another system. The term "brake" refers to the original use of a band brake to measure torque during the test (which is multiplied by the engine RPM and a scaling constant to give horsepower).

Me personally... I've never been a big fan of Unichip... it's just another piggyback adapted for the Speed6 platform, whereas the Standback was specifically designed for the DISI motor, if price were no issue, and I owned a Speed6 still, no doubt in my mind, I would buy a Standback long before I would buy a Unichip, just due to the engineering behind it, and the fact with the Standback allows you to tune your own car, whereas a Unichip can only be accessed by Unichip certified professionals.

I imagine it's a pretty good bang/buck, considering it costs a good bit less than the Standback w/PnP harness, but I would just save my cash for the Standback. Just my $.02

I agree, I just wanted to see the dyno plot.

No question the standback software is above and beyond a mass produced product for pretty much any make/model vehicle.
