Mazda pretty much flew under my radar entirely with the exception of the RX-7 and miata... just a bunch of bland, boring cars that never drew a second glance. Then something happened with the launch of the 6 and the 3. I was drooling over an econo car that actually looked interesting and much to my pleasure was enjoyable to drive as well. Now they have a whole range of interesting cars with some very exciting stuff on the horizon.
I haven't had a single issue with my car in the ~3 years and 80k miles I have put on it and I'm actually looking forward to potentially buying another Mazda down the road.
Another #1 For The Mazdaspeed3 :)

I would of added to Mustang to your list.
The GT-R is one ugly car, the older ones were much better looking.[/b]

T4 turbo, custom magnaflow exauhst, intake
That's what I like about the 6. It may not be the fastest out there, but it's a driver's car. I can feel the road and know exactly what my car is doing at any given moment. Steering response is excellent.
And my wife adores her CX-9, too, for many of the same reasons. As far as SUVs go, it's nice to drive. Not bouncy and floaty like other ones out there.
I really hope I can get into an MS3 when the time comes.
