Welcome to the club =)Yeah i saw lorki a few weeks ago he was at the body shop someone hit his car on the side and ran so he was trying to get a price on fixing it. its not to bad but you can see the huge dent in the side. but yeah thats the vielside lip i don't think he has anything else other then that done to the body.
I go out every now and then when i have time but most of the time i don't stay out long it isn't like it was 6 years ago but i go out every now and then. if you see me out im the one with the tit gray 8 with the cmzc side stickers.
Welcome man. You should come over to the Dyno meet. That a is LorkiBird's (Vinny) 8. That's a Vielside fornt lip spoiler. I'm not sure if the side skirts are from the factory appearance package or that Vinny only put the back half of the veilside side skirts. He hardly posts here but he comes to meets. Cool guy. \
Cobb AP will be great to have. Can't wait for all the info on it and how much power it will release from our stock RENI. Turbo kits are making the biggest power for the 8. MAZSPORT has a kit that makes around 360 whp out of the box but I thik that starts around 9k. Other kits similar like PTP, Esmeril, SFR run from 6k to a little over 7k. They all make close to the same power out of the box. Anywhere from 320 if I remember right to 340WHP. TQ is also increased more from Turbocharging than Supercharging...well from what dynos have proven.[/b]

Make sur eit's someone who knows rotaries! If you're turboing an 8 try talking with pettit, peter farrrel, Mazdatrix(I have had great experience with these guys), Speed machine Performance(they have compettitive RX-8 drift cars),rotary power usa, and I had my engine built by rotary warehouse(no turbo yet...yet). These seem to be the guys with the best reputations across the country. Racing beat does re-flashes on your computer, but no turbo stuff.
Going off that note... I need to know a solid shop that I can use throughout the entire process of my car... any suggestions? Good prices, and reliable work.[/b]

What end of town are you on?
Right now I am not on the road so I havn't been out. Brat is usualy out in his bike. Drifter is also usually out with his friends.
We do not have a meeting spot as of yet, that might be an idea of something to start.

I didnt swap... I sold the camaro about 3 years ago, went to college then came back to the springs. I chose the RX-8 to be honest, on it's looks, and the reputation they seem to have. They are not on the roads nearly as much as the rest of the tuner cars and they remind me a bit of my dream car the Dodge Viper. It isn't as quick, but when I was done with the camaro, it wasn't that quick either. Anything is better than the 1995 Jeep I had before.
I was on the north end of town. I live on Garden of the Gods, so if you see a black RX-8 say hi.
